Alert Stolen Colombian Collection (Reported Nov. 1, 2019 – updated Nov 18)

Dear numismatic friends,

We have the unfortunate task of informing everyone that a treasure of Colombian numismatics has been stolen. Mr. Gregorio Toulemonde’s apartment, located in Bogota, Colombia, was broken into by a gang of criminals who took his important collection of silver and copper coins of Colombia. The stolen coins were mainly minor pieces from colonial times to the 20th century, many of them unique and/or finest known. This group represents high value for the history of Colombia, in addition to the monetary value. More than 50 years of dedication to numismatics have been unfairly lost in just a few minutes. Any offering of Colombian coins at this point should be closely scrutinized. A detailed list of the stolen coins will be provided soon. A reward is being offered for the recovery of the coins.

For more information on this issue please contact us or Mr. Toulemonde using WhatsApp via +57 (314) 393-5158.

Thank you for your serious attention to this matter.
