I see that I had seen this forgery first appeared on eBay in 2011. This coin came from India and although the piece appears to be die struck with multiple strikes, I believe it is a high quality pressure cast as the coin is ‘greasy’ in the hand and the edge reeding does not appear struck. It is included in the third part supplements booklet on forgeries of Tibetan coins by Wolfgang Bertsch.
